New training course: Process Technology of Cement Production
Based on its more than 50 years’ experience in training and education, VDZ has recently developed a new training course titled “Process Technology of Cement Production”. The new course will be held for the first time on 05.03.-16.03.2018 in Düsseldorf/Germany. It is well suited to various target groups, such as production personnel, process/control room operators, quality/laboratory managers and young engineers. The course gives an insight into cement production technology, covering topics from quarry operation to cement grinding. It consists of two one-week modules which can also be booked individually:
“Grinding technology and raw material preparation” (Module 1) will enable participants to obtain a better understanding of the comminution processes and the equipment used for material grinding to ensure high levels of availability, optimise production rates and reduce energy consumption.
“Clinker production and material technology” (Module 2) will provide a deeper knowledge of the clinker production process and the impacts of the plant personnel’s daily decisions on the plant’s performance (quality, electrical energy, fuel consumption and emissions).
The training course is led by experienced engineers and highly specialised researchers from VDZ. Participants will also have access to selected VDZ Online Courses, VDZ’s solution for self-paced training of basic knowledge. They will also receive handout material and a certificate of attendance upon successful completion of the training course. Further information and booking:
