Enrich your skills: VDZ’s International Training Programme 2024/25 is now available
VDZ introduces its new seminar and training programme for 2024/25, which ranges from teaching technical basics and expertise for professionals to further training programmes for managers. With over 60 years of technical and scientific expertise, VDZ also offers individual, tailor-made seminars on the topics of clinker and cement production, maintenance, quality assurance, environmental protection and concrete technology. The new-look e-learning platform “cement-academy.org” provides additional training material (e.g. animations, videos) to facilitate a deeper understanding of complex processes.
In the training course “Energy Balances and Efficiency” (18 – 21 March 2024) the participants will develop the skills to conduct and assess cement kiln and mill trials in order to collect data on performance, output, energy consumption and efficiency.
The online seminar “Cements of the Future” (11 April 2024) provides an overview of the current state of development and standardisation of new cements. The possibilities and limits for practical implementation will also be presented.
The training course “Grinding Technology in Cement Production” (3 – 7 June 2024) aims to deepen the understanding of comminution processes and grinding equipment, with the goal of increasing production rates and reducing energy consumption.
The online seminar “Burning Technology in Cement Production” (24 – 28 June 2024) offers comprehensive insights into clinker production and characterisation, including burning technology, emissions abatement and energy efficiency.
The online training course “Firing Alternative Fuels” (23 – 26 September 2024) provides information on the use and firing of alternative fuels, including pre-treatment, quality control and impact on the burning process.
All VDZ classroom training courses are conducted by experienced engineers who have gained their expertise in cement production and different international projects. Almost all courses take place at VDZ’s premises in Duesseldorf, Germany. You can find detailed information on all training events and online registration forms at www.vdz-online.de/en/training
