On 03.08.2015, finalisation of the transaction with Lafarge and Holcim officially made Lafarge Germany part of the CRH Group. In the course of this, the name of all business units previously belonging to Lafarge Germany was changed to Opterra. Specifically, beside Opterra GmbH, these are now Opterra Karsdorf GmbH, Opterra Karsdorf GmbH/Sötenich works, Opterra Wössingen GmbH and Opterra Beton GmbH.

The new distinctive blue logo with the lettering Opterra is now to be seen on all silo vehicles, in the company brochures, on the informational website www.opterra-crh.com, the Newsletter and, in the future, also in the customer magazine. Membership of the CRH Group is shown by the suffix „A CRH Company. Even after the name change, Danilo Buscaglia remains CEO of Opterra GmbH.
