ETA cooler to Conch
Claudius Peters (CP) has signed a contract with China’s largest cement producer, Anhui Conch Cement, to supply an ETA cooler for the new cement plant in the Yangchuan district of China. This new 12 000 t/d cement line was designed by the Conch Design Institute to include the CP ETA cooler. It will be the largest ETA cooler built by Claudius Peters and the thirteenth ETA cooler supplied to Conch in recent years. The new cooler has 13 static inlet rows and 12 parallel aerated lanes with seven air chambers in the first stage and five air chambers in the second stage. A built-in heat recovery system will recycle the used cooler air. To guarantee a uniform clinker discharge size, CP will also be supplying its largest roller crusher which measures 22 feet wide. Installation of the CP cooler and crusher is scheduled for early 2013 with start up in the summer.
