Fatality and serious injury prevention symposium offered at upcoming cement conference

A discussion on fatality and serious injury prevention will be offered at this year’s 2016 IEEE-IAS/PCA Cement Industry Technical Conference.
The Portland Cement Association's (PCA) Occupational Health and Safety Committee, in co-sponsorship with the Maintenance and Safety Committee of the IEEE's CIC, will present its first Fatality and Serious Injury (FSI) Prevention Symposium, with a focus on cement plant operations on Monday, May 16, 2016, in Dallas, Texas/USA.
The symposium offers participants a chance to increase insights into fatalities and serious injuries at cement plants over the last several years. Attendees will learn about FSI prevention, working in confined spaces, preventing falls from heights, and engineering evaluations of structural integrity.
