New global ­president

Honeywell has appointed Sach Sankpal as global president for Honeywell Safety Products, part of the Honeywell Automation and Control Solutions’ Life Safety business. Sankpal, who joined Honeywell in 2010 as vice president of strategy & marketing for Honeywell Life Safety, has led the Safety Products business within Europe, the Middle East, Africa and India (EMEAI) for the last two years. Prior to that, he held positions with different companies such as Avaya, Inc. or Trimble Navigation, Ltd.
