(57) The subject of the invention is a method of producing Portland clinker with the use of de-ferrous steel slags in a rotary kiln, inclined downwards from the horizontal towards the outlet, in which the milled raw material with a granulation of less than 0.2 mm containing natural and raw materials is introduced into the kiln from its cold end. waste raw materials, ensuring the obtaining of a raw material load with appropriate relations between the main oxides: Cao, SiO2, Al2O3 and Fe2O3. The method consists in adding 5% to 35% by weight of de-ironed steel slags with granulation from 0 to 4.0 to the raw material batch before the grinding process, which is the so-called “low” raw material and introduces to the CaO sintering process. The de-ironed steel slag is also an iron-bearing raw material in the process of sintering Portland clinker. The deironed steel slags are created in the process of sudden cooling with water, the mirror of which completely covers the cooled steel slags, and cooling is carried out from the temperature of 800-1000°C to the temperature below 100°C, after which the raw material set is subjected to the process of grinding, and then it is dosed to the cold end of the rotary kiln, where it is subjected to the Portland clinker sintering process.
