In a consortium with KHD, Loesche has succeeded in India once again with an order placed by ACC/Holcim. The decision of Holcim was made for the Loesche favorite and state-of-the-art vertical roller mills type LM 56.3+3 and LM 43.3 D. These mills will be part of the Jamul plant. With these new aggregates ACC will strengthen their position as the leading cement group in India. Part of the clinker produced in Jamul will be ground in the cement plant. Another part will be processed in grinding terminals. A Loesche Mill Type LM 56.3+3 CS equipped with a classifier type LDC will be used for this process. The vertical roller mill will be operated with the power of a 5600 kW motor and will have a capacity of 195 t/h. Alternatively it is possible to grind slag with this mill. The Loesche vertical roller mill Type LM 43.4 D will be also part of the project and is designed to have a capacity of 90 t/h. The gearbox has a capacity of 1300 kW. Loesche’s scope of supply for the Jamul project of Holcim will include additional equipment which will be delivered in a joint venture by Loesche GmbH, Duesseldorf, as well as by Loesche India Pvt. Ltd.
