Kreisel strengthens its position

On 15.02.2014, Kreisel GmbH & Co. KG from Krauschwitz/Germany took over the business of the insolvent Schäffer Verfahrenstechnik GmbH & Co. KG in Thierhaupten near Augsburg. The approximately 30 employees will retain their jobs in the newly founded Schäffer Verfahrenstechnik GmbH. In this way, the planning, design and manufacturing of sophisticated bulk material mountings and power units can be continued at the Thierhaupten location. Management is carried out by Mario Sonntag. Until now, he has been Head of Purchasing and Materials Management at Kreisel headquarters in Krauschwitz.

In the long term, Kreisel is planning at Thierhaupten. “The Schäffer-products, among other things screw feeders and lump breakers, are a suitable supplement and extension of our product range”, says Managing Director Wolfram Kreisel. “This location allows us to strengthen our distribution network and optimize our service in the south of Germany.”
