New ETA Cooler for PT Semen Bosowa
The Chinese Sinoma International Engineering Co. Ltd. is a state design and research institute for the Chinese cement industry supplying engineering, providing equipment procurement and general contracting services to the cement industry in China and abroad. In March 2013 Sinoma awarded a contract for the delivery of an ETA Stage Cooler with roller crusher for a new kiln line in Indonesia with a capacity of 7500 t/d to Claudius Peters. The ETA Cooler is the latest generation of clinker cooler with improved cooler efficiency and low maintenance. Claudius Peters ETA 1087//84S ETA cooler with roller crusher is equipped with a static inlet (HE-Module) of 10 rows, eight individual control lanes in two stages operation, and a roller crusher RB 426-5 EM with five rollers in the stage middle. The cooler will be installed at PT Semen Bosowa Maros plant in Ujung Pandang/South Sulawesi. Current clinker capacity of the plant is 2.5 Mio t/a and with the new Kiln Line 2, the entire site will have a production capacity of 5.2 Mio. t/a. PT Semen Bosowa is one of the leading cement manufacturers in eastern Indonesia. Nationally, Bosowa controls 6 % of the market share and having a positive outlook in the cement industry in Indonesia, Bosowa plans to increase their market share up to 20 % in the near future. Start up of the ETA cooler is planned before September of 2014.
