Remondis bundles gypsum activities

Since 01.02.2013, Remondis has merged its various gypsum activities into a new company with the name “Casea”. The company currently operates from Lünen/Westphalia its gypsum activities under the product name RADDIBIN and under Südharzer Gipswerk GmbH (SHG), which was acquired in 2009.

Objective of the merger is the standardization and structuring not only of the internal processes, but also of the market presence for customers. The ­Casea product range is now represented by three brands: ­Casubin (products for the building materials trade and the building trade), RADDIBIN (screed binder) and Tectobin (calcium sulfate raw materials, burnt plaster and special plasters).

Casea is represented by the former CEOs of SHG, Peter ­Knechtle and Kai-Peter Orschel, as well as the newly appointed technical director Dr. Alfred Schiffer. For the sales activities Jens Fischer and Lutz Haake will continue to be responsible.
