New diagnosis service

Gear unit manufacturer Flender is presenting a new diagnosis service in the Diagnostex-series. The plug-and-play solution for vibration and temperature measurement reports gear unit irregularities directly to the plant operator’s smartphone and allows servicing before the production process is interrupted by unplanned failures or breakdowns. It is one further module within the digitalization of drive solutions.

Flender offers out-of-the-box solutions for more than 30 applications in various designs and sizes especially for the process industries. In addition, customers are supplied with gear units and couplings engineered specifically for their respective plant. Product solutions are rounded off by a comprehensive service offering. Besides spare part packages, maintenance, repairs and further on-site services by Flender technicians it contains diagnostic services for monitoring the gear unit’s condition and for planning of predictive maintenance. Retrofit and modernization measures further optimize and increase the efficiency of existing production facilities. Flender engineers stand at the customer’s side over the entire product lifecycle, from project phase through delivery to commissioning and after-sales services.
