New classifier for Göllheim

The Palatine cement works of Dyckerhoff AG in Göllheim/Germany has been operating a coal grinding plant since 1983 which features an MPS 140 K vertical roller mill and a static classifier of the older generation. Modern coal firing systems require a finer product quality. To meet these requirements, Dyckerhoff decided to order a high-efficiency classifier at Gebr. Pfeiffer SE, Kaiserslautern/Germany. The classifier of the type SLS 1120 BK, which is guaranteed to separate the material to a fineness of 3 % R 0,090 mm, will be installed in Göllheim in the calendar week 6/2014.
