(57) [Problem] To provide a molded article that uses hydraulic lime and a method for producing same. [Solution] A molded article having a flexural strength of at least 7.5 N/mm2 and containing hydraulic lime subjected to calcium carbonate crystallization. A method for producing a molded article containing hydraulic lime, the method  comprising (a) a step for press molding a mixture containing hydraulic lime and water at a pressure of at least 5 N/mm2 and (b) a step for submitting the press-molded article yielded by (a) to a carbon dioxide cure.
