Fives to provide revamping services for Imerys plant
In December 2016, Fives FCB signed with Vatutinsky Kombinat Vognetryviv, a refractory chamotte plant of Imerys, a contract for the revamping of its kiln located in Cherkassy, Ukraine.
This contact includes the supply of parts for the kiln mechanical refurbishment as well as erection engineering and supervision. The first stage of the project consists in revamping and upgrading kiln #1 in order to increase its speed and to improve productivity.
Relevant equipment will be delivered on site within 10 months from the starting date of the project. The kiln commissioning is planned within 12 months.
