Cooler order for Askari Cement

The Chinese design institute NCDRI awarded a contract to Claudius Peters for the delivery of two cooler conversions. The final customer, Askari Cement in Pakistan, converts two grate coolers to modern ETA cooler technology.

The ETA coolers 856 S are equipped with each eight rows of HE-modules and a roller crusher RB 305-3 EM. In a first step, the capacity of 2700 t/d will remain unchanged.

Askari Cement is one of the leading cement manufacturers in Pakistan with two plants. The cooler conversion will be carried out at the Nazimpur plant with two lines in operation. Both plants have a total capacity of 8925 t/d. Due to the high cement quality the cement is used for dams, bridges and highways.

The commissioning is planned for the 1st quarter in 2018.
