Cemtec’s fly ash grinding equipment delivered to Korea

Cemtec Cement and Mining Technology GmbH received an order from Daesung Machinery Co. Ltd., South Korea, for the supply of main process equipment for the fine grinding of fly ash at 6900 cm2/g (Blaine), comprises one ball mill Ø 3.0 x 7.0 m and one latest generation separator CTC-045.

Beforehand, several trials took place in the presence of the customer, at the R&D facilities of Cemtec in Austria, where fly ash products with fineness above 8500 cm2/g (Blaine) were easily obtained. This was enabled by the special rotor design of the Cemtec CTC-separator series.

The grinding plant, owned by AHA Greentech Co. Ltd as patent holder of a new technology for the use of fly ash from power plants in cement production, is to be commissioned in summer 2016.
