ABB releases cpmPlus Expert Optimizer 7.0, a new version of its proven software for deployment of advanced process control applications to increase energy efficiency and productivity in the cement and minerals industries. The following new features have been implemented: Non-linear model predictive control leading to better performance and lower application complexity, new tools for engineering efficiency including the ability to create user-defined libraries, better access rights control up to single strategy components for better protection of intellectual property and support of Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 64 bit version.
