Second lime kiln for Karadeniz

Karadeniz Madencilik San. ve Tic. Ltd. S¸ti., domiciled in Istan­bul, Turkey, placed an order with Maerz for the supply of engineering, license, know-how and equipment as well as technical assistance ser­vices for the installation of a second Maerz lime kiln. The kiln of the type R2P with a circular shaft cross section will process limestone with a stone size of 50 to 100 mm. The daily production of the pulverised solid fuel fired kiln will amount to 420 t of burnt lime. The new lime kiln plant will be operative in the second half of 2012.
