Investment in the location and in a successful future

Everything is pointing towards expansion as regards the company Di Matteo Förderanlagen GmbH & Co. KG, the internationally acting specialist for bulk solids handling. At the end of 2010 the company invested a total of 3.8 million € in the acquisition of a second production plant (Fig.) including infrastructure and the involved expansions and restructuring. Based on extended manufacturing possibilities in an optimally equipped plant, now large systems, such as heavy-duty bucket elevators, pusher plate systems, continuous-flow conveyors, trough screw conveyors, silos as well as other large plants for material handling and process engineering of different design, can be produced and completed more quickly and efficiently. Innovative product categories, such as the new tube weighing machine WeighTUBE® or systems of solid-liquid separation will also be manufactured there in the future. With an additional manufacturing area of more than 8000 m2, the group of companies now has a total of more than approx. 23 000 m2 of manufacturing area for the entire machine building, steel and plant construction division at the location in Beckum. Manufactured parts with an individual weight of up to approx. 50 t can be handled by the crane installations. The capacities of stainless steel machining have also been optimized and extended in a separate manufacturing shop. Due to the expansion, the business lines have been extended by the fields “service” and “waste-to-energy plants/thermal waste treatment”. Today, it is one of the leading companies in the world regarding innovative secondary fuel handling.
