Grinding equipment for Vietnam and Tunesia
In March 2010, Tianjin Cement Industry Design & Research Institute (TCDRI) owned by the Chinese Sinoma Group has concluded a contract with GEBR. PFEIFFER AG to supply three vertical roller mills which will be erected in Dong Lam Cement Joint Stock Company’s new 5000-t/d greenfield cement plant located in the province of Thua Thien Hue, about 30 km north-west of the old imperial city of Hue. TCDRI will act as General Contractor for the installation of the whole facility. The supply will include an MPS 5000 B raw mill, an MPS 4500 BC cement mill and an MPS 3350 BK coal mill. Delivery is scheduled for the 2nd quarter of 2011.
At the beginning of 2010 Tunisia-based Les Ciments de Gabès owned by the Portuguese CECIL group ordered a cement grinding plant from GEBR. PFEIFFER AG. The scope of supply starting with the transport of the clinker from the existing clinker silos and ending with the transport of the cement to the existing cement silos comprises the complete electrical and mechanical equipment including the supply of manufacturing documents enabling an extensive manufacture of components in Tunisia. An MPS 4250 BC vertical roller mill equipped with an SLS 3750 BC high efficiency classifier will form the core of the cement grinding plant. The plant designed to produce several cement qualities will grind Portland cement with a capacity of between 50 and about 100 t/h and limestone cement of between about 125 and 155 t/h. Due to the different product fineness degrees the drive of the mill is a variable speed design. The erection of the plant is scheduled for mid 2011.
