Process optimization
The optimization of the production processes is one of the permanent primary concerns of the cement industry. Maximization of fuel substitution, reduction of pressure drop, maintenance of stable plant operation or increasing plant availability are only a few examples of process optimizations. A seminar with the title “Understand processes – optimize processes”, to be held in Aachen, Germany from 27th to 28th of April 2010, will deal with this topic. The options of process optimization, its potentials and tools will be presented on the first day. On the second day a workshop will be held in which the participants will solve optimisation problems hands on. If turned in to the organisers in time, real cases from the plants of the participants can be solved free of charge during the workshop. Both days can be booked separately. The language of the event will be German.
