(57) The invention relates to a method for producing a reusable gypsum material (10) from 20 a construction waste material comprising gypsum waste (20) comprising the steps a) simultaneously removing paper material from the gypsum waste (20) and crushing the gypsum waste (20) to a grain size of 0.1- 50 ram for providing a separated gypsum material (30) from the gypsum waste (20); and b) cleaning the separated gypsum material (30) by removing impurity particles from the separated gypsum material (30) for providing the reusable gypsum material (10) from the separated gypsum material (30). The invention also relates to an arrangement for making reusable gypsum material (10) from construction waste material comprising gypsum waste (20).
