World Cement Association welcomes Sunnsy Group
16.09.2019The World Cement Association announced it has further expanded its international network of members by welcoming Sunnsy Group, one of the largest cement groups in the northern area of China’s Yangtze River region.
“Sunnsy Group has an impressive history of innovation in cement production methods, including as a pioneer of vertical kiln technology in China, and was one of the earliest cement manufacturers to deploy dry cement processing technology,” said Vincent Lefebvre, Chairman of the World Cement Association. “We are pleased to welcome them to our global community and look forward to the valuable contribution they will be able to make to our efforts to share and improve best practice among members.”
With a total annual cement production capacity of over 100 million t/a, Sunnsy Group is one of the 12 largest cement groups being specially supported by China’s Central Government.
The group’s products and services range from cement to aggregate, commercial concrete and cement machineries, and have been exported to more than 60 countries, including USA, Australia, Russia, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
The firm has received widespread recognition for its achievements including: ‘Advanced Group of National Construction Material Association’, ‘National May 1st Labour Model’, ‘National Advanced CPC Organization’ and ‘Home Of National Model Workers’. It is ranked in the top 500 Chinese enterprises and its “Sunnsy” brand cement has been awarded a National Certified Quality Credit AAA Gold Medal.

Founded in 1972, the company is headquartered in Jinan, Shandong, and has over 100 sales branches in 14 provinces or municipalities of China.
