The second “solid Monday” will take place on February 26, 2024 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. as part of the “Climate-neutral solid Bauen@skills.BW” knowledge platform. The new innovation forum will present innovative approaches to mineral construction and their contribution to climate neutrality in an entertaining digital live dialog between changing speakers and moderator Martin Prösler, founding member of the DGNB. This time, Hoang Nguyen, Head of Communications & Sustainability at the Berlin start-up alcemy, will show how new technologies can be used to produce a mass-produced cement with a reduced clinker content and thus further accelerate the decarbonization of the construction industry.
The innovation forum is aimed in particular at architects, planners and people in construction companies, who will also have the opportunity to ask the speakers questions during “solid Monday”. Registration is now open on the knowledge platform www.bau-klimaneutral.de.
Alcemy’s software solution uses machine learning and control technology to predict the quality properties of cement and concrete. Using smart AI algorithms, the company offers concrete forecasts along the entire value chain in real time – from cement grinding to concrete processing on the construction site. This enables the production of sustainable and CO2-reduced cements and concretes with a reduced clinker content. The first construction projects are already being implemented in practice.
“Klimaneutral Massiv Bauen@skills.BW” is a free, digital training format for all aspects of climate-neutral solid construction. In addition to events, the knowledge offering at www.bau-klimaneutral.de provides interested parties with a variety of compact videos and practical insights. The platform is funded by the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Economic Affairs, Labor and Tourism as part of the “BAU.weiter.BILDEN@BW” funding program.
