Web-based printing supervision and configuration platform

Wiedenbach Apparatebau GmbH, a supplier of marking equipment for products like cables, hoses, tubes, strips and films from Gottmadingen/Gemany, has introduced a remote control functionality as a standard feature of the CS/WP series printers. The new Command Control System (CCS) is a web-based supervision and configuration platform that controls printers remotely from any PC, tablet or smartphone in any location and without the need for a complicated PC installation process. The new software enables users to control and monitor one or up to 100 printers and to obtain real-time production information. As printer warning and alarm messages can be seen across the entire printers network simultaneously, users can reduce costly errors and downtime. The system can also be used for quick and error-free adjustment of printer settings during product changeovers. Moreover, printers which are located in hard-to-access areas on the production line are easier to monitor and control.

The Command Control System is now a standard feature of all CS/WP series printers, machines which have already been installed with this function can be updated with the latest software.
