Thai cement giant orders new silo

One of Thailand’s largest cement producers, SCG, awarded a contract to Claudius Peters for the delivery of a new cement silo. The silo will be delivered to Mawlamyine Cement, 300 km southeast of Yangon/Myanmar.

Claudius Peters will deliver a storage silo type EC with a diameter of 18 m and a total volume of 10 700 m³. The main decision to select the silo type EC is the lower height compared to their existing similar capacity silos. Various aeroslides are also part of the scope of supply.

The commissioning is scheduled for July/August 2017.
