New trio of directors for w&p Zement

Since April 2021, Jerneja Potocnik (43), Florian Salzer (36) and Peter Ramskogler (38) have been responsible for the management of w&p Zement GmbH as directors. A goal of the trio is to make the family-run, traditional company fit for the future and to strengthen its regional structures in the long term. In essence, the focus will be on increasing the concentration of w&p Zement on development-relevant projects; first and foremost, the modernization of the two sites in Wietersdorf (Carinthia) and Peggau (Styria). The reorganization of the management team will also ensure that the two managing directors, Lutz Weber and Bernhard Auer, can focus on the development and growth of the overarching Alpacem group of companies under the aspects of sustainability and digitalization.

“Cements and binders are regional products. They are produced and processed in the region. Our deep roots in Wietersdorf and Peggau therefore form the ideal basis to secure partnerships and win new satisfied customers,” says Peter Ramskogler, the new sales director of w&p Zement.

“A key strength of w&p Zement is the innovative development and implementation state-of-the-art plant technology at the individual locations. Against the background of our digitization and sustainability strategy, we will consistently pursue this path in the coming years,” explains years to come,” explains Florian Salzer, who is the director responsible for the technology area.

“Efficient internal processes represent a key driver for the further development and the operational business of the company. Here, the focus in the coming years will be on, digital processes even more strongly, for example in controlling or reporting,” explains Jerneja Potocnik, who as Director of Finance is responsible for w&p Zement.
