New eyewear coating extends service life

The new coating RAS (RAS Robust anti-scratch) from 3M provides a 5 times longer scratch resistance than other 3M anti-scratch coatings. Two models of the Maxim series were equipped with RAS for the first time – the “Maxim” and “Maxim Ballistic”. The new protection makes them resistant and therefore particularly suitable for harsh working environments. Moreover, to prolong their useful life, they need to be replaced less frequently.
