New CEO of Holcim Switzerland and Italy

Following the successful implementation to date of the Group strategy “Strategy 2022 – Building for Growth”, the management of Holcim Switzerland and Italy will be handing over the reins in October: Nick Traber has decided to take up a new challenge abroad and will leave the LafargeHolcim Group after 18 years. He will hand over his position as CEO Holcim Switzerland and Italy to Simon Kronenberg, who is currently Head Commercial.

Simon Kronenberg has extensive experience in the industry and has been working in various functions within the LafargeHolcim Group since 2007. Prior to his current position at Holcim Switzerland and Italy, he was Commercial Director of the country representation in Spain.

Simon Kronenberg is 39 years old, a Swiss citizen and holds a master‘s degree in economics from the University of St. Gallen. In his new function, he reports directly to the member of the Executive Committee Marcel Cobuz, who is responsible for Region Europe.
