The Ohorongo-Otavi Community Trust (OOCT) recently donated a container full of medical garments to the value of € 30 000 to the Tsumeb Private Hospital in Northern Namibia. The donation was made possible by the Ministry of Health and Social Services in assisting OOCT and E.v. Support, a private organisation from Ulm/Germany that works on the improvement of medical aid in the 3rd World. The medical garments will be distributed to the various hospitals and clinics that are in need of such items. Under the items received were 4291 pieces of medical sponges, 1445 surgical caps, 115 surgical drapes and 197 surgical neckties.
OOCT and E.v. Support supported various projects in the Otjozondjupa region in the past, like the donation of wheelchairs and walking frames to the Tsumeb Private Hospital.
