Loesche technology for Citeureup cement plant

An almost identical Loesche VRM type LM 56.3+3 C is situated in Settat/Marokko

Indocement, Indonesia’s second-largest cement producer has ordered seven vertical roller mills from Loesche GmbH, Duesseldorf/Germany, for the new production line at the Citeureup cement plant, 45 km south of Jakarta. Citeureup comprises nine kiln lines with a total cement capacity of 11.9 million tpa. This makes it to one of the largest integrated factory complexes in the world. All of the kilns at the plant utilize dry process and pre-calciner technology.

A new cement production line, including seven Loesche VRMs, is currently being installed at Citeureup. Two mills for the grinding of cement raw material will be of the type LM 56.4. Each will have a capacity of 400 t/h at a product fineness of 10 % R 90 μm. Two further mills of the type LM 28.3 D will be grinding coal and have a capacity of 40 t/h at a product fineness of 12 % R 90 μm. For the clinker grinding the client uses three Loesche VRMs type LM 56.3+3. Each mill will be producing 240 t/h of PPC cement with a fineness of 19 % R 32 μm.

In addition to the vertical roller mills for the cement grinding plant Citeureup, the Loesche scope of supply includes the cyclones, dedusting filters, fans as well as the corresponding hot gas generators for the cement mills. Delivery to Indonesia will start in August 2014.
