Fusion of competencies – Eberhardt GmbH and Schwab GmbH

The M-Group, a group of companies operating internationally based in Lemgo/Germany, is pleased to announce the merger of its subsidiaries Eberhardt GmbH and Schwab GmbH, both specialised in lime kilns.

Eberhardt GmbH can look back on more than 150 years of experience in the construction of lime shaft kilns with coke, oil and gas firing systems for the sugar and soda industries. Schwab GmbH has firmly established itself on the market over the past 25 years thanks to its expertise in refractory solutions for lime kilns. The name of the new company will be Eberhardt Schwab GmbH.

The driving factor behind this merger is to provide the customer with the best possible technical and economical solution, focusing on the kiln as a whole. This integrated approach includes: the kiln process, the mechanical components, the firing systems as well as the effects on and of the refractory lining of lime kilns. Such an “all-inclusive package” for all life cycles of a lime kiln is unique and has not been available on the market so far.

The fusion of competencies is reflected, not least in the name, but in the preservation of both well-established brands. Under the leadership of Michael Hünerlage and Harald Schwab, all team members will work closely together on a wide range of projects and combine their expertise and experience to develop innovative solutions to customers’ challenges.

Eberhardt Schwab GmbH draws multiple benefits from the strong backing of the M-Group in Lemgo/Germany. With several foreign subsidiaries and the core company Möller Feuerfesttechnik GmbH & Co. KG, the M-Group holds a leading position in the field of refractory applications and, for many decades, operates successfully on a global scale.
