Fourth mill ordered for Nepal within a year
Now that Gebr. Pfeiffer has sold more than 140 vertical mills in India, its neighbouring country Nepal also seems to be a success story: within just one year the fourth vertical roller mill has been ordered from Gebr. Pfeiffer. The MVR mill, which will be supplied by the mill manufacturer from Kaiserslautern, is currently the state of the art in vertical mill technology, which has proved successful across the globe. This was one of the key factors behind the customer’s purchasing decision as the MVR mill guarantees a low vibration level and efficient grinding.
The fourth Pfeiffer vertical mill in Nepal is the first for Palpa Cement Industries Private Limited and will be installed at the plant in the town of Sunwal, in the district of Nawalparasi. The MVR 3350 C-4 with a drive power of 2150 kW is designed to grind 130 t/h of cement at 3000 Blaine and 100 t/h of blast-furnace cement at 3800 Blaine.
Commissioning of the mill is planned for mid-2019.
