De-dusting for a mobile crusher

A de-dusting unit is often part of a larger plant. A recent project with Hazemag in the USA shows the importance of trust and communication between the companies involved.

The project is a mobile crushing plant for a quarry that Hazemag has designed. The operator of the quarry is Lehigh Cement Company Union Bridge Quarry (New Windsor, Maryland/USA). The de-dusting of this crushing plant was supplied by Münstermann.

Air pollution control „Made in Germany“

Limestone is mined in the quarry. The de-dusting plant itself is designed for an air volume of 97500 Bm³/h and can be shipped in normal containers. The filter was built by Münstermann in Germany and shipped in screwable segments in containers to the USA. Welding on site is not necessary.

The Münstermann filter is a compressed air bag chamber filter with fully automatic compressed air cleaning. It is responsible for the dry recovery of dusts and the cleaning of the dusty air.

The Münstermann scope of delivery:

Filter system with trough conveyor and rotary valve

Raw and pure gas pipes

Fan, filter control and dust measurement system
