(57) The invention relates to a classifier (10) for classifying a material flow, comprising a rotatable rotor cage (12), a guide vane ring (14) arranged around the rotor cage (12), an inlet (16) arranged below the rotor cage (12) for letting the material flow into the classifier (10), a fine-material outlet (18) above the rotor cage (12), and a coarse-material outlet (20), wherein the classifier (10) has an annular gap (24) below the rotor cage (12) and a flow device (26) for orienting, in particular homogenizing, the material flow is arranged in the annular gap (24).
