Change in Directorate

As part of the Dyckerhoff Plaster and Building Chemistry Conference 2014, there was a farewell ceremony for Dr. Josef Strunge, longtime Director of the Wilhelm Dyckerhoff Institute (WDI) in Wiesbaden/Germany, on his retirement. His sucessor is Luigi Buzzi. Buzzi received his degree in chemical engineering in 1993 at the Polytechnic University of Turin. In May 1995 he joined the Buzzi Unicem group and took over R&D, quality control and process technology. Since 2007 he has been responsible for the coordination of R&D activities between Buzzi Unicem and Dyckerhoff.
