Another MVR mill for the Algerian market

After switching to the Pfeiffer technology for its Zahana works, Société Saoura ciment also opted for Gebr. Pfeiffer for its new cement plant in Bechar.

The customer ordered an MVR 5000 R-4 for cement raw material grinding for its greenfield plant, which will be set up near the border to Morocco. With this deal, the number of innovative MVR mills sold to Algeria alone will increase to four.

The mill with a total drive power of 3800 kW will be grinding 350 t/h of cement raw material to a fineness of a maximum of 12 % R 0.090 mm.

The delivery of the equipment is planned for the first half of 2018.
