(57) The invention relates to an alkyl silicone resin (A) containing at least 80 % by weight units of general formula I R¹_aR²O)_bR³_cSiO_(4-a-b-c)/2 (I), wherein R¹, R² and R³ stand for the alkyl groups defined in claim 1, a is 0, 1, 2 or 3, b is 0, 1, 2 or 3, and c is 0, 1 or 2, with the provision that the sum of a+b+c is less than or equal to 3 and in at least 50 % of the units of formula (I) the sum of a+b is equal to 0 or 1 and in at least 20 % of the units of general formula (I) c is equal to 1, wherein the content of alkoxy groups R²O is 5-20 % by weight. The invention also relates to a continuous method for producing alkyl silicone resin (A) from chlorosilane, alcohol and water in a reaction column, and to a continuous method for mass hydrophobising fibre cement, in which a mixture containing water, fibres, cement and alkyl silicone resin (A) is produced, and to the use of alkyl silicone resin (A) for mass hydrophobising fibre cement.
