In June 2012 Votorantim posted its Single Annual Report, which for the first time brings together under a single cover information on the financial, environmental and social performance of its industrial businesses: Votorantim Cimentos, Votorantim Metais, Votorantim Siderurgia, Citrovita, and Fibria. This is a trailblazing initiative among private companies, which have no legal obligation to disclose such information. The document focuses on Votorantim’s sustainability goals for 2012 and on the challenges it will come up against through 2020. The report has been validated and approved by the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), KPMG, and by the Brazilian Foundation for Sustainable Development (FBDS).
