The Bedeschi Company is supplying a mobile crushing plant (Fig. 1) to Shurovsky Cement OJSC (Holcim Group) at the Kolomna plant (Moscow Region). Shurovsky Cement is one of the first cement plants built in Russia (1870); the plant, which for the first time in Russia received two new Unax rotary kilns (1912). The project at the Shurovsky cement plant for modernization was approved by the Holcim EXCO in March 2007. The construction of a new technological line for dry cement production will replace the old and inefficient technology and is considered to be the most modern, ecologically friendly and energy effective way of producing cement. Shurovsky Cement is the only plant in Russia producing white cement. In Table 1 the key data of the project are listed. The crushing plant consists of:
Tracks for support and travelling
Steel structure frame applied on the tracks and supporting the machines and devices
Apron feeder CNA 11/2200 complete with hopper
Double roller crusher RL 650/2200
Belt conveyor to discharge on downstream conveyors
Belt conveyor, inclined, mobile on idle wheels for connection with downstream belt conveyors.
Three belt conveyors are included in the scope of the supply. The belt conveyor structure is equipped with tyred wheels suitable for unpaved surfaces; the wheels have hydraulic pistons for lifting in order to reduce the height from the ground during operation and to increase the stability. The frame is suitable for the application of counter weights (excluded from the supply) to avoid turnover. The belt conveyor can be inclined in the range +10° to +20° by hydraulic pistons to fit with the height of the downstream belt conveyors. All hydraulic pistons are fed by the hydraulic unit of the crushing plant by rapid connection for temporary feeding. The mobile belt conveyor is towed to the operation location by external truck/tractor (excluded from the scope of supply).
