Road Show at Intensiv-Filter

At the end of 2010, Intensiv-Filter invited employees and the project manager of Schaefer Kalk, Diez a.d. Lahn/Germany, for an information day (Fig.). The objective was to inform the guests of the advances in filter technology and the support ­capabilities of Intensiv-Filter. Besides lectures about state-of-the-art filtering installations, the new product families ProJet mega^® and ProJet smart^® were introduced. The product training was completed with information about dust dis­charge components, heat exchangers and tubular coo­lers. However, the application of optimum filter media and the increase in energy efficiency of filtering installations were, for the participants, of special interest. The animated discussions about the trend subjects “Lowering of Life Cycle Costs” and “Energy Efficiency” expressed that clearly. “The road show was not only informative but also provided content which is useful in our day-to-day work”, explained Roland Burghardt, participant and head of plant engineering at ­Schaefer Kalk.
