Wietersdorfer Group named Austria’s leading company
The Wietersdorfer Group is delighted to take second place at this year’s ALC Austria. After the Wietersorfer Group was already awarded first place at the ALC Carinthia in October 2024, it has now also achieved a top position in the Austria-wide award. The prestigious business award, which was presented by “Presse”, “KSV1870” and “PwC” yesterday at the big ALC gala in Vienna, underlines the successful path of the Carinthian family business. “The award is a confirmation of the hard work of our employees and shows that the path we have taken across all five of our business divisions is successful. I would like to thank you on behalf of the entire group for this wonderful recognition, which would not have been possible without the commitment of our employees,” says Hannes Gailer, Managing Director of the Wietersdorfer Group.
The Wietersdorfer Group has laid a solid foundation for the future in recent years. The diversification and internationalization of the Carinthian group of companies, which is active in 47 countries with its five business areas (GRP pipe systems, PP pipe systems, industrial minerals, lime and cement & concrete) and employs over 3300 people, has contributed to this. The affairs of the company have been managed from Carinthia since 1893.
