Cicsa grows in Spain and invests in the mechanical chains industry

Cicsa Group has completed a strategic investment by finalizing the acquisition of Cadersa, Cadenas y Derivados S.L. of Barcelona, a company leader in Spain in the production of mechanical chains for bulk materials handling applications. In its almost 50 years of activity, Cadersa has proved a strong focus on high-quality production, with particular attention to the markets of the Iberian Peninsula, North Africa, and Central and South America.

By combining the skills and specificities, the companies continue on the path of internationalization and growth that has led to expand the leadership in some highly qualified industries so far, such as power generation, biomass treatment, mining, and production of cement, aggregates and inert materials.

Through this operation, clear synergies and great product complementarity can be used, while accessing new markets and new industries, completing the production range of chain solutions for bulk materials handling applications, with deep and transversal expertise ranging from round steel link chains to pin and bush chains.
