Building the Future of ZKG International Together

Dear readers,

Time marches forward. ZKG International has completed the transition of its publisher from Bauverlag to Tech Science Press (TSP). Yes, this is a transforming time. We deeply recognize that the traditional cement, lime and gypsum materials sector is undergoing a profound shift from scale expansion to quality and efficiency. When everybody talks about AI and model innovation, technological breakthroughs and model innovations in cement, lime, gypsum, and related new materials urgently demand more efficient communication platforms and deeper resource linkage. In the new year, ZKG International will continue to uphold its original aspiration of serving the industry and empowering innovation. It acts as a solid bridge connecting industry and academia with a more open attitude and professional perspective, enabling the collision of ideas to generate greater development momentum.

ZKG International will focus on the entire industrial chain of cement, lime, gypsum, and related new materials, with special attention to core areas such as low-carbon binders and intelligent equipment upgrading. New materials, new processes, new equipment and successful projects are welcomed to be communicated here with us.

ZKG International is currently published as a hybrid journal, offering both subscription-based and open access options for authors. In due course, the journal intends to transition fully to an open access model to increase the visibility and accessibility of its content. We are building an editorial board to support this aim. We welcome researchers from both industry and institutes to join us. What ZKG International looks like, you can shape it jointly.

May every exchange of ideas be transformed into tangible development results. We look forward to collaborating with all of you, authors, readers, companies and subscribers in the cement, lime, gypsum and related building materials industries, strengthening industrial synergy, and jointly writing a brilliant new chapter of progress.
