Thank you very much!

Dear readers,

Following our Green Challenge issue, issue 8/2025 is another issue of special significance to us: this will be the last time that ZKG is published by Bauverlag and with us as your editorial team. We would therefore like to take this opportunity to express our sincere thanks to everyone who has accompanied, shaped, and supported ZKG over many years: authors, readers, customers, associations, companies, and subscribers in the cement, lime, and gypsum industries, as well as the supply industry and all related and associated subject areas. Thank you for the many inspiring discussions at trade fairs and conferences, the tours of your plants and companies, and, of course, your exciting, in-depth technical articles that make our magazine so special. Many encounters were no longer just collegial, but also friendly. From January 2026, the publisher Tech Science Press will be responsible for all questions relating to ZKG.

However, this does not mean that we will not be in touch with each other again. We, the previous editorial team of Dr. Petra Strunk and Lukas Höpfner, will of course remain with Bauverlag. We look forward to continuing our exchange with you and informing you about current and upcoming projects in which our team is involved and through which we will continue to stay in contact with the cement, lime, and gypsum industries in the future. Thank you once again for the trust you have placed in us over the years and for the good cooperation.

We hope you enjoy ZKG 8/2025 and wish you a Merry Christmas, happy holidays, and a happy New Year 2026.

Dr Petra Strunk, Editor-in-Chief ZKG International, & Lukas Höpfner, Editor ZKG International

The ZKG Drymix Special 2015 will be coming soon

In 2015, too, a special issue of ZKG International is again dedicated to the subject of Drymix Mortar | Construction Chemistry. For the third year now, ZKG takes a look over the “(cement) garden fence” and focuses on the broad range of applications for cementitious materials. These are as diverse as the drymix mortar industry itself. A very good impression of this was again provided at the biennial International Drymix Mortar Conference, idmmc 5, in April, at which ...
