Three vertical roller mills for Chinese cement plant
Bei Liu – the Chinese Lubao Cement Company is currently having a new plant built for the production of cement clinker with a total daily capacity of 4500 t in Bei Liu, in the province of Guang Xi, in southern China. Loesche is contributing three vertical roller mills, one each for raw material, coal and clinker/slag.
One 4-roller mill with a capacity of 450 t/h will be used there for the grinding of cement raw material to a fineness of 12 % with a sieving residue of R 80 μm. Another Loesche mill with a throughput of 200 t/h is used for the subsequent grinding of cement clinker to a fineness of 3400 to 3600 Blaine. The other large 3-roller mill with a capacity of 42 t/h is used for the grinding of fuel coal to a fineness of 2 % and a sieving residue of R 80 μm.
Loesche’s customer and general contractor at the new plant in Bei Liu is the engineering company Sinoma (Suzhou) Construction Co., Ltd. which belongs to the well-known Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd. and is a part of the important China National Building Material Group Corporation. Sinoma has been a part of the development of the Chinese cement industry for more than 50 years and in this time has already implemented 400 cement production lines, 60 of which are full EPC projects (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) in China as well as in other Asian and African countries. In relation to Sinoma and its related companies, Loesche has already made its contribution in the past with the delivery of a large number of vertical roller mills, the outstanding technology of which has now convinced Sinoma once again. In this way, Loesche was now able to win over the Lubao Cement Company as a new customer and purchaser of the mills, in particular as Loesche is already able to deliver the machines and components within six months.
