The MultiDrive now also finds its way into Pakistan

The Cherat Cement Comp. is extending its existing cement works in Cherat/Pakistan, thereby relying on the unbeatable combination – Pfeiffer MVR mill and MultiDrive. The order was placed by the General Contractor TCDRI.

The Pakistani company focusses on innovation, because, in choosing an MVR 6300 C-6 roller mill, it decided in favour of the most modern vertical mill technology available on the market. The mill is designed to grind 365 t/h of OPC to a fineness of 3200 cm²/g acc. to Blaine. Thanks to the double active redundancy – MVR roller mill and MultiDrive – the mill achieves the maximum possible technical availability.

The MultiDrive, featuring a total drive power of 7800 kW, consists of four independent drive units.

The MVR mill will be delivered in 2018.
