Installation start for Loesche in Elmadag
After only 10 months delivery time, Loesche is now starting to install the raw meal mill commissioned by Vicat, in which 260 t/h of cement raw meal will be ground in Elmadag/Turkey.
The Loesche LM 45.4 raw meal mill ordered by Vicat Service Technique Ciment in May 2014 for grinding cement raw meal has already been delivered by Loesche and is currently being installed. This is not the first Loesche vertical roller grinding mill for Vicat Service Technique Ciment. There are already raw meal mills of the same type in the Vicat factory in Elmadag as well as in Konya, also in Turkey.
The Loesche vertical roller mill LM 45.4 serves to enhance the cement factory Bastas Baskent Cimento in Elmadag and will grind 260 t/h of cement raw meal at a product fineness of 16 % R 90 µm. The installed drive power is 2100 kW.
The further Loesche scope of supply includes weighing feeders, apron feeders, magnetic separators, metal detectors, shut-off and control flaps, vibrating conveyors, a bucket elevator and expansion joints.
With the acquisition of another LM 45.4 raw meal mill, Vicat has given itself a competitive edge. The supply of spare parts is reduced to a minimum, since the same spare parts may be used for all mills of the same type.
The commissioning of the new LM 45.4 in the cement factory Bastas Baskent Cimento in Elmadag is scheduled for the third quarter of 2015.
