Kai Junghänel receives power of attorney for the Rohrdorfer Group
Kai Junghänel has been Commercial Director and a member of the Management Board of the Rohrdorfer Group since May 2024. In this role, he is responsible for the areas of finance, group accounting, controlling, IT and organization as well as payroll accounting. He is also responsible for the establishment of Group-wide sustainability reporting and the further development of compliance and corporate management. With his expertise and commitment, he makes a significant contribution to the strategic direction and sustainable development of the Group.
Due to his outstanding work, the Advisory Board has granted Kai Junghänel power of attorney for the parent company Südbayerisches Portland-Zementwerk Gebr. Wiesböck & Co. GmbH. Together with Managing Director Mike Edelmann and Dr. Christopher Ehrenberg (authorized signatory), he now forms the management of the Rohrdorfer Group.

Kai Junghänel studied business administration at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and the University of Valencia. Before joining Rohrdorfer, he gained extensive experience in the infrastructure and real estate industry. Kai Junghänel worked at KPMG for around 18 years, the last twelve of which as an auditor for public and medium-sized companies. The 46-year-old is married, has three children and lives with his family in Munich.
